VNWC members created Valentines for area memory care and assisted living residents at our February meeting

At our VNWC November membership meeting we presented a $10,000 check from our October Bingo Bash fundraiser to Venice Area Mobile Meals. We also inducted 6 new members and celebrated Friendsgiving.

Thank you to everyone who participated in a very successful fundraiser on October 24th for Venice Area Mobile Meals.  

Venice-Nokomis Woman’s Club (VNWC) presented the City of Venice’s Historical Resources a small collection of historical documents pertaining to the origins and history of our club. This included early deeds for the VNWC’s clubhouse and agreements with the Friends of the Library, who became the beneficiary of the VNWC’s book collection.

Thank you to those who stopped by to visit our booth at the Venice Main Street Labor Day Craft Fair, and the volunteers who hosted the booth.

In May 2024, we welcomed two new members, and awarded three scholarships totaling $6000.

The Venice-Nokomis Woman’s Club presented a check for more than $15,800 to the Venice Art Center to support the Children’s Program.
