Best Social Club Finalist 2025
This spring, VNWC was named Social Club Finalist in the Gondolier “Best of Venice” contest. Sun News Representative, Laureen Martel, presented the award to at our club luncheon at Darrell’s Restaurant last Thursday.

2025 Fashion Showcase
VNWC had a flashy, sparkly, and fun time at this year’s Fashion Showcase on February 26 at Hotel Venezia. Mayor Pachota was our MC. Thank you to our sponsors: Abode, Island Way Boutique, Krystyna Designs, Lisa’s Classic Rose, Nest, Scarlet Macaw Resort, Seaside Chic, Sunbug, and Twist. This event was a fundraiser for Venice MainStreet, Inc. Thank you to all who attended.

November 2024 Meeting
At our VNWC November membership meeting we presented a $10,000 check from our October Bingo Bash fundraiser to Venice Area Mobile Meals. We also inducted 6 new members and celebrated Friendsgiving.

VNWC Donates Historical Documents to City of Venice
Venice-Nokomis Woman’s Club (VNWC) presented the City of Venice’s Historical Resources a small collection of historical documents pertaining to the origins and history of our club. This included early deeds for the VNWC’s clubhouse and agreements with the Friends of the Library, who became the beneficiary of the VNWC’s book collection.
