ABOUT US

The Venice-Nokomis Woman’s Club, one of the oldest not-for-profit civic organizations in the State of Florida, was founded in 1926 by Louella Albee. An early initative was to establish a public library for residents of Venice, Nokomis, Osprey and Englewood.

December 2021 Meeting

The December 9,2021 Meeting & Holiday Luncheon was held at Cassariano Restaurant which included a “Yankee gift swap” as well as a food drive which was very successful. The food was given to the pantry at Gold Rush Restaurant.  We had a great turn out and a most enjoyable time! …

Christmas In July 2021

2021 Student Grants

At the last meeting of the year for the Venice Nokomis Woman’s Club, 3 out of the 4 Venice High School Students were on hand to receive their scholarships funds, totaling $6,000. Leilani Longoria and Casey Morehead each received $1,000 to pursue 2 year Nursing degrees at State College of …
