VNWC recently gathered school supply donations for the TWIG foster children, including 19 backpacks, 79 spiral and composition notebooks, 22 packs of paper, 37 packs of crayons, 32 packs of pencils, and 143 packs of other supplies!
Members donated clothing for TWIG and their Executive Director, Nicole Britton, was our speaker. We inducted 7 new members also at the meeting.
Our members recently volunteered as elves for Venice Main Street’s Christmas in July event.
